What Should I Expect During FaceTite™?
Before beginning the FaceTite™ procedure, patients will be administered a local anesthetic or topical numbing agent to ensure they remain comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Because the procedure is minimally invasive, general anesthesia is not required. Once the treatment area is numbed, a tiny electrode is placed on the surface of your skin above the target area. Next, a tiny 1 to 2 millimeter incision is made and a specialized cannula is inserted beneath the skin.
The innovative FaceTite™ machine delivers bipolar radio frequency energy to the treatment site(s) using the electrode and cannula. Energy from the FaceTite™ machine results in the contraction of the initial layers of skin, as well as underlying tissues. Unlike past skin tightening techniques, FaceTite™ transmits bipolar energy that is carefully directed to the desired area, heating the site from the inside out and resulting in more precise treatment. FaceTite™ can also remove small amounts of excess fat, if necessary, to further enhance contours.
What Should I Expect After FaceTite™?

Following FaceTite™, patients can return to their daily activities almost immediately. Depending on the size of the treatment area, it may be recommended that patients wear a compression garment to further promote skin tightening and combat any swelling. Patients should keep the incision sites clean and dry and avoid any vigorous activity. Although most patients report that any post-treatment discomfort is minimal, this can be treated with over-the-counter medications.
