Dr. Paul Daraei has a strong commitment to excellence and patient centered care. He is a Double Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon specializing in all surgical and non-surgical procedures of the head and neck. Astra Plastic Surgery is proud to have Dr. Daraei as a member of our facial plastic surgery team at our Alpharetta and Cumming offices. He completed a highly rigorous head and neck surgical program, followed by a fellowship dedicated only to cosmetic facial plastic surgery. He has committed himself to working with prestigious and elite surgeons nationally and internationally to provide comprehensive and state-of-the-art care for his patients in the Atlanta area.

Dr. Daraei completed a surgical residency focusing on the head and neck at Emory University. He trained under Dr. Daniel Rousso, one of the most renowned surgeons in the field of facial plastic surgery. During his residency, he completed over 3,000 plastic and reconstructive surgical cases, mastering the anatomy of the face.

Dr. Daraei serves as Clinical Instructor at the Emory University Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, helping to train the next generation of residents and fellows. He is certified through the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS). Throughout his years as a plastic surgeon, Dr. Daraei has worked with some of the most prestigious surgeons both nationally and internationally, allowing him to provide his patients with comprehensive and state-of-the-art care for his patients in the Atlanta area. He has published articles in prestigious medical journals, given multiple talks at head and neck surgery conferences, and published book chapters on the art of facelift surgery. Dr. Daraei is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and Emory University Department of Head and Neck Surgery.

Born and raised in California, Dr. Daraei attended the University of California, Los Angeles where he received his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience. Then, he graduated with his medical degree from Emory University, where he ranked at the top of his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society as a junior, an honor reserved for the most elite and accomplished medical graduates. Throughout his education, Dr. Darei earned multiple merit-based scholarships as a result of his academic excellence.

Throughout his early education, Dr. Daraei was intrigued by the anatomy of the face and had a passion for helping patients become the best versions of themselves, leading him to become one of the most renowned facial plastic surgeons. Dr. Darei prides himself on his patient-centric approach, which allows him to not only provide transformative results, but also ensure his patients receive the highest standard of care. Outside of the office, Dr. Daraei enjoys spending time with his wife and children, as well as golfing, enjoying the outdoors, and cooking.
